Sometimes you want to keep a clip from X for offline viewing, a presentation, or a reference folder. The simplest way I have found is X Downloader, a free web tool that works in the browser.
Step one: copy the link of a public post that contains a video. Step two: paste it into the box on the site. Step three: pick MP4 for video or MP3 if you only need the audio, then download.
There is no account, no extension, and nothing to install. Please only download content you have the right to use, and give credit to the original creator when you share it.
